KERRY HURLERS – A massive congratulations to the Kerry hurlers on securing promotion to Division 1 of the hurling league. They put in a tremendous performance on Saturday last beating Antrim by one point in a very close game. Well done to Dougie Fitzell, Daniel Collins, Adrian Royle and of course Seamus Regan on their success. Kerry hurling will benefit from this promotion and hopefully the team will prove themselves well in 2016. Next up Christy Ring Cup.
RESULTS – INTERMEDIATES Kilmoyley 4-13 V Crotta 0-12. The Intermediates had their first game of the year in Kilmoyley last week. Well done to Padraig O Sullivan and Gerald Carroll who didn’t let the team down and togged out to make up numbers.
AVAILABILITY OF PLAYERS – Unfortunately, all players don’t make themselves available for games. This is an issue that has to be addressed and wonder why they actually pay membership. Kilmoyley is a strong hurling area and hurling is our game, so players are being asked to make themselves available for the club and show pride in your jersey. Details of all games are texted out to players in advance and it is only politeness to reply back and let the club or trainer know if you are free for the game. This goes for all games whether it is Seniors, Intermediates, U21, Minors or underage. The club will not beg you to play, if you are interested enough turn up and tog out.
