COMMUNITY CARE LOTTO:

The numbers drawn for the Lotto of the 13th April were 1,7,13,18.  There was no jackpot winner of €4,900.  Two €50 winners were P.J.Godley, Ballyheigue and Michael O Leary, Snipefield. Numbers were drawn by Colm Griffin.  Community Centre bookings 087-1611720.

WALKING GROUP:

This coming Sunday the group has the Castleisland-river/crag walk which is approx three hours of country lanes, river, paths and moderate hills.  Group meets at Tochar car park at 9.30am.  All Wednesday mornings are local two hour outings and the group meet at Church car park 9am.  All welcome.

WEDDING:

Congratulations and every best wish for the future to Jerome O’Connell, Ballinorig and Orla O’Carroll of Clashmealcon who got married last Friday in Causeway and held their reception in Killarney.

CYCLING CLUB:

GOLF SOCIETY:

Kilmoyley Golf Society have an outing on this Saturday to Mahoney’s Point Golf Course, Killarney.  Tee time is from 11.50am to 13.00.  This outing is kindly sponsored Bert Sheehy of Energywise.  All welcome.

KILMOYLEY NATIONAL SCHOOL NEWS:

Dancing Success – Well done to Shannon Sheehan and the dance troupe “Shapow” who danced themselves into third place in the Freestyle Hip-Hop dance competition which was hosted in the Brandon Hotel Conference Centre recently.
National Spring Clean – Well done to the pupils of Fifth and Sixth classes and their teacher for the great clean-up of the area on Friday 17th April.  You are a great example to us everyone.
Yeats Among School Children – Congratulations to Aisling Gaynor a pupil in Senior Infants, who inspired by the poem “In the seven woods” by W.B. Yeats, created a piece of art which has won a prize in the “Yeats Among School Children” competition organised by the Education Centre, Tralee.
Open Day for Infants – A wonderful day was enjoyed by all who attended the “Open Day for new Infants” recently.  Thank you to all the people behind the scenes who provided refreshments on the day.  Thank you to all the parents who took time to come to the Open Day.
